With chase mobile checkout you can accept payments wherever your business takes you, and I'm here to show you how. Let's start by going over how to activate your account.
Download and install
First, download the chase mobile checkout app on your smartphone or tablet. You may notice there's a different version in the App Store for each device, this should be automatically detected based on your device type.
After downloading and installing the app you can use the test drive feature and watch the how-to videos in the learn section of the tablet to help you get familiar with chase mobile checkout. If you haven't already been working with a sales representative you will need to complete the signup form in the app or call us to get your account setup, be sure to call the sales number in the contact us section of the app.
Username password and instructions will be emailed
For the country your business is in after you've been set up you'll receive emails with your username, password, and instructions for how to log in, the card reader will be sent to you from Chase Paymentech along with setup instructions when you activate your account with our merchant services team.
Once you receive it, connect the reader to your mobile device, we have another video in this series with detailed information on how to use the card reader. When you're ready to log on, the app will prompt you for the username and single-use password you received via email, here you'll be asked to change your password.
An identification code is required for a new device
If you are accessing chase mobile checkout from a new mobile device at any time you'll also be prompted for an identification code to get this, you'll need to choose request an identification code and select either text or email delivery, this information will be sent to the contact information, we have on file for your account.
Once you receive the code, go ahead and enter it in the app, and you'll be able to log on, and that's it. Now your business is as mobile as you are.
